IT WAS NOT ME. IT WAS NOT EVEN MY TEAM. IT WAS GOD USING US
This summer, we had witnessed numerous teens meet Jesus and it was mind-blowing! At the ELC camps, over 150 teens asked Jesus to become their Savior!
It has been a great week at Radooga. God does something in my life every year. It is amazing the change He does in me each and every time I come here. This year I was allowed to be the speaker for most of the week. Part of the responsibility of the speaker is to lead the kids to prepare them for repentance night. Each day we lead them more toward answering the question if Jesus is real and do they want to have Him as their Savior. Friday was that very day this year. We had been living with the students all week showing God’s love. My team had all been sharing their testimonies on how they met Jesus. We had prayed and asked God to move on the hearts of these students. As I shared God’s word with them and the plan of salvation from the stage it was obvious that God was working on many hearts. When the invitation came many students came and gave their lives to Jesus. I do believe that the whole team had given a message of life to every camper. Later that night I was asked to go and share with a church group. As I began to ask these group of students about who had repented many said they had given their lives to Jesus last year. Of course, I encouraged them to continue following God. But something amazing happened. Two girls began to express that they had questions. They still did not understand. They had heard the gospel already several times. But you never know the moment when it clicks and someone begins to truly understand. I shared with Anya and Ileena. Their hearts were open and they gave their lives to Jesus. It was not me. It was not even my team. It was God using us to share His truth and lives are transformed. Even today conversations are happening all over for those who want relationships with Jesus. We can give our lives to Jesus anytime and it is evident here.
