BECOME A PART OF JAMMGLISH DREAMTEAM

At the same time, we still need 10 people who love God and teens and are willing to serve with us at the JAMMglish Camp.
Trip Dates: June 24- July 5

“Discover America, Create America”
What is the camp like?
At this camp you can build America outside of its borders and do it according to your values. Over 95% of campers are non-churched, for many of them JAMMglish is their first opportunity to interact with Evangelical Christians. Every group of campers forms an American city with its own City Administration, Businessmen, Media, Arts/Architecture and Performing Arts. You will be their US experts in these five areas, helping them to reach the main goal – become the new capital of America.
The daily key elements are: morning program, English classes, master class, recreation/team building, evening program, followed by group discussions, and fun activities. Since English is the drawing card for non-Christian youth to come to camp, English will be spoken often during camp. Owing to some differences in the English-language proficiency of Ukrainian students, interpreters will be working closely with the Americans in carrying out the camp program. They will also perform as the counselors. Yet during their free time they’ll be available to assist you during their personal interaction with campers. You will be responsible for teaching conversational English and equipping students to accomplish daily tasks. Although most of your relationships with Ukrainian students will be built in the process of you performing your immediate responsibilities at camp, you are also highly encouraged to spend your free time strengthening your friendships with campers that will help them see Christ through you.
How can you share your faith?
The Good News is shared through building friendships. Though there’s no preaching from the stage, there’re plenty of opportunities to discuss your faith in relational settings.
Skills: Native English. Optional: some experience in Leadership, Business development, Management, Marketing, Media, Arts, Architecture, Theatre, US Sports.
